As a Technology Sales (internship) you’ll help drive solutions sales efforts and participate in complex sales cycles to delivery Data & AI solutions to clients across the Greater Midwest. This individual will be high-energy, tactical, and technically curious to uncover sales opportunities with new clients.

Responsibilities

  • Individual contributor role, facilitating sales outreach with daily outbound sales touchpoints (e-mail, LinkedIn, calling, etc.)

  • Tenacious and creative sales prospector and uncovering new sales leads with clients across the Midwest/Great Lakes

  • Assist with pre-sales data strategy sessions, technical discovery, and creation of proposals

  • Learn the technique of building and managing a formal 30-60-90 sale account plan

  • Fearless and tenacious at uncovering new business opportunities, clients, and partnerships

  • Assist with client success/account management of existing clients as needed; to help drive client satisfaction, client retention, client expansion, and client referrals

  • Passionately engages company LinkedIn content, shares industry related content, and leverage social platform to generate brand awareness/new business

  • Proactively participates in Data & AI community events, user groups, tech conferences, and Power BI Meetup (Twin Cities)

Requirements

  • Related experience in Outbound Sales, Technology Sales, IT Staffing Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Customer Success Manager, or similar roles is strongly preferred

  • Seeking entrepreneurial minded candidates who can deal with ambiguity, overcome rejection/failure, and embrace the challenging demands of a tech-startup

  • Practice active listening & asking technical questions to uncover business challenges and needs across Data & AI

  • Ability to complete a Sales Learning Path via LinkedIn Learning (videos)

  • Must be able to activate the Company Core Values on a daily basis in all interactions

  • Local candidates are preferred who can facilitate in-person client meetings and attend Power BI Meetups

  • This is remote position and will work and collaborate from our virtual Office Space on Microsoft Teams, this internship has the possibility to convert to full-time employment after 6-months or achieving certain performance benchmarks

  • Compensation: this is role includes an hourly rate and competitive commission package
