As a Data Consultant (Power BI) you’ll engage executive stakeholders to uncover critical business metrics/KPI and build business analytics reports and data visualizations in Power BI. Our Power BI developers assist with Data Strategy Sessions and work within Fulton’s consumption-based framework to deliver agile-based data analytics solutions.
Responsibilities
Understand business use-cases, gather business requirements and define critical metrics/KPI to create reports.
Leverage Power BI to produce reports and interactive data visualizations.
Architect complex data analytics reports with DAX, Python/R, and custom visuals.
Lead training and mentoring around Power BI and data-driven adoption.
Display a passion for solving problems with data. Interest in being community evangelist, able to attend user groups, write blogs and present at data conferences.
Assist with pre-sales efforts, client presentations, and proposals/contracts.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in data modeling, data cleansing, data analysis, reporting development, data visualization, business analytics, and business requirement gathering and documentation.
Experience engaging stakeholders across multiped departments to define metrics and KPI is preferred.
Experience building Power BI reports, data modeling, DAX calculations is strongly preferred.
Self-guided study and completion of the Microsoft DA-100 Exam & Certification.
